I have been working on two projects, one a portfolio for interior product and spaces (started in Japan with the Butola Shape) and the other - the female form, and transformation.
April 2012
I have moved into Mexico city, where I am working as a teacher and artist. I am mostly working in 2 Dimensions and have become increasingly interested in the female form, fertility and disease. I have been entertained by Mexican folk art and the alebrijes. It has inspired some recent drawing. Still thinking about transition and space.
Interesting work materialized from the drawing a day project. I will soon be putting this work on the site.

I have started a 2D project where I wish to complete a drawing a day.
The starting concept is simple- deconstructing an image/object
concentrating on shape.

I have been living in Mexico for four months. Below is a documentary style photograph of a visiting priest. He oversees the area of Tennancingo and is blessing the audience at the Projecto El Rincon with Holly water.

Since October 2010 I have been teaching at a university in Tokyo. I have now left Japan and have arrived in Malinalco- a small town, North of Mexico city. I plan to learn a bit about documentary style photography. Here is one of the first impressions I got from Malinalco.

I wanted to create work that made manifest ideas that i was concerned with living in Tokyo. Especially the idea of something not quiet being complete- 'liquid'' - the state of in between-
The factors that you may be concerned with when you move from one state into another. A state in between transition to a new space or identified state of shape.
